Peculiarities of linguistic expression of the motif of loneliness as a conceptual component of the art world of V. Svidzinskiy

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of verbalization of the motif of loneliness in the poems of V. Svidzinskiy. The purpose of this article is to establish the features of semantic-syntactic organization of the motif of loneliness in the poetic works of the author.  The task is to identify lexical and grammatical means of representation of this motif, to analyze their structure and functions. As the result of the study, we came to the conclusion that the leading motif of loneliness is revealed in the poems written by the author explicitly, with the help of tokens having different part of speech membership . V. Svidzinskiy repeatedly combines the lexemes of loneliness and joy in the poetic contexts, giving thereby the feeling of loneliness positive assessment that corresponds to the philosophical views of the author.  Transmitting the state of loneliness of the lyric hero, the writer introduces relevant lexemes into different contexts. In particular, the author combines them with verbs of state, mental activity, perception, movement very often. The state of loneliness in the poetic works of V. Svidzinskiy is expressed and  depicted through the description of the environment. Presenting this motif, the artist mainly uses complex sentences of different types, uses a distant repeatition in cognate words, with the help of which he reveals the condition of the subject, the annular loop. V. Svidzinskiy creates a deep and multi-faceted image of a lonly man using comparison, which is based on the national poetic representations conveyed by the symbol words (tree, night).  Besides, symbol words associated with the studied motif of loneliness in the poetic works of the artist, have both negative and positive evaluative semantics. The question of stylistic-syntactic organization of the leading motifs of creativity of V. Svidzinskiy requires further research.   Key words: individual style, sentence, word image, stylistic figure, repetition.
