REPRESENTATION OF APPROVAL IN CONFESSIONAL STYLE
Abstract
The article analyzes the meaning of statement in the context of confessional style. The object of our study is affirmative sentences in the confessional style. The aim of the investigation is to analyze and differentiate the main means of expression statement in the confessional literature. Material for analysis was the religious texts. Confessional style interprets as a kind of stylistic Ukrainian language, which serves the religious needs of society. Found that affirmative constructions are dominated in liturgies, prayers, sermons, confession, Bible, Gospel. In particular, a person apelates to God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, angels, saints asking for help in prayer using affirmative forms. There is determined the main means of implementing the category of statement in religious texts, in particular: lexico-grammatical and syntactic. In the confessional style fixed a lot of nouns that have not had the morphological parameters of statement, but it represented their lexical meaning. The most widely affirmative meaning in confessional style reflects combined with nouns adjectives. Among them are separate group terminological compounds that are used to affirm religious and mythological persons, religious celebrations of prayer, book. The pronoun ‘everyone’ uses in prayer texts to assert the value and importance of the implementation and observance of the commandments by everyone. Statement with the meaning of сonsequence represents the adverb ‘yes’ in the sermons’ language. Among the main lexico-grammatical and syntactic constituents of the category of statement in the confessional style distinguish nouns, adjectives, nouns + adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, means realizing equivalents sentences, optative expression, narrative sentence, rhetorical questions and express confirmation. The prospect of further research can be seen in investigating of statement in the style of official documents.Key words: meaning, statement, means of expression, lexical and grammatical, syntactic, representation, confessional style.Downloads
