Dwelling space furniture names continuously replenish their membership leaving behind many unresolved issues which are related with new names and word combinations, which were not been included to the scientific circulation. This has led to the relevance of the proposed article topic.<br> The purpose of the article is an analysis of furniture names’ structural and gramatic features, particularly – single-word nomens, two component names and word combinations.<br> Dwelling space furniture names system from the standpoint of morphological structure has mainly substantive character. The most frequent of furniture names are nouns because the furniture vocabulary is defined mainly with the object names. <br>By the structural characteristics furniture names are devided into single-word nomens underivatives, for example: a table, an armchair, a bed, a bench; and derivatives, for example: a stand, a kitchen. <br> A need to display in the dwelling space furniture names the generic, specific and other relation types causes the creation of the compound words and phrases, which are represented by two species : composits, for example: eurostandard, videocabinet; and yukstapozits with the main component - apposition, for example stand-table, chest of drawers-bar. <br> In explored vocabulary the main type of composed formations are the attributive character nominal phrases. As a rule they are motivated by the components’ meanings which these phrases belong to. <br>In the composed names single-word lexemes are the supporting words, they can function independently. <br> Derivative double-component nominative phrases are the one of the nomination means among furniture names. They are created by signing of output single-word nomens and became widespread (dining table, high chair, computer desk, a shelf for audio). <br> Other structural types of composite furniture names are not marked as productive as double-component formations.
